On October 1, 2018 Christine Degan, Nurse Practitioner, from SPLC's GAIN Clinic, presented at the Canadian Home Care Summit in Charlottetown, PEI. "Reducing The Silo Mentality" - A leading practice for effective communication. This innovation builds collaboration between established health care programs who traditionally work in silos, to provide seamless palliative care to a population of frail seniors that have not previously been able to access palliative care services.
Closure of Entrance C

In order to better serve our community we are renovating a portion of our facilities. Please be advised that due to the construction, Entrance C will be closed and our Customer Service Reception (CSR) area has been temporarily moved to the Entrance B lobby (closest to the Twin Elevators).

On September 25, 2018 we had the pleasure of partnering with United Way and the hard working volunteers from Ernst & Young LLP to celebrate the Korean Mid-Autumn festival, otherwise known as "Chuseok."

Thank you to all those who came to help us kick off the Mid-Autumn Festival at SPLC! We had a wonderful time building paper lanterns and hearing music from our own talented volunteer Jan Whyte, and piano teacher, Tan Bi Lei who teaches the Digital Piano Class at SPLC.We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to MP Jean Yip's office for being there to help us celebrate the occasion.- ‹‹ Previous
