United Way Workplace Campaign

On November 8, 2018 SPLC was proud to host our first ever United Way Workplace Campaign! United Way has been a generous supporter of SPLC's programs and services, and last week we had the opportunity to show them our appreciation.Staff members at SPLC showed off their cooking expertise by each bringing a delicious homemade treat. Mouthwatering dishes from around the world drew a crowd of hungry coworkers, and turned our seminar room into the perfect spot for a feast.Thank you all for making our very first UW Workplace Campaign such a rousing success.
40th Anniversary Charity Gala Dinner

Since November of 1978, St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre has served the seniors of our community by providing affordable housing, healthcare and personal support services. We are thrilled to announce that St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this November. In honour of this occassion, 2 Charity Gala Dinners will be hosted in the Recreation Room at 3333 Finch Avenue East.
Construction Update

The rennovation on the West side of our parking lot has been completed, and Phase 2 of the project has begun as of Monday October 22, 2018. The project will be completed in the next 4-5 weeks. Please note the following during construction:
Senior to Senior Bullying Survey

Sheridan College and Elder Abuse Ontario (EAO) have released a survey to better understand bullying between peers aged 55+ in Ontario. The survey is available in 7 different languages (English, Chinese, Punjabi, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portugese).
