When her husband's health began to decline, Guo, (Lily) Gang Ling became a full time caregiver. This change is one that many families face, and can understandably lead to a great deal of stress for new caregivers. But as Lily puts it, she can still have "peace of mind, and a life full of joy."

On Saturday March 30, 2019 Senior Persons Living Connected (SPLC) hosted our annual Active Living Fair. The event brings together organizations from across Ontario that share SPLC's desire to empower older adults and help them live their best possible life. This year we brought together 17 incredible companies who offered services, programs, and resources that help older adults stay healthy and connected to the supports they need.

St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre Completes Renovation For a Newly Updated Building

St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre is very pleased to share the news that the construction in our courtyard has been completed. Over the past five years there had been concerns of water leakage in the Centre building and poor insulation, which caused higher utility costs.

SPLC Receives Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation for Space Renovations

SPLC’s Adult Day Program space, located at 3333 Finch Avenue East, has received a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) for space renovations. The renovations are scheduled to begin June, 2019.
