GOOD NEWS IN OUR COMMUNITY
A great piece of news came from one of our community clients who receives support through SPLC programs. We are thrilled to hear that Justiniano, 101-years-old, beat COVID-19. He continues to do well at home with his family. We wish you continued health, Justiniano!

SPLC YOUTUBE ACTIVITIES
Looking for something to do to keep you busy? The SPLC team has created a series of videos specifically for our community to help seniors stay active while you self isolate.
Check out these excellent videos on YouTube.
You can learn Tai Chi or follow along with gentle chair exercises. There are a series of fun brain game videos created by the SPLC team in Mandarin and Cantonese. Or, perhaps, you’re interested to learn a new hobby? One SPLC team member leads a video art class to teach beginners to sketch – all you need is a pencil and paper. You can even learn about growing a small garden in your kitchen with instructions in Mandarin and English. Check back often as new videos are being uploaded regularly.
Don’t forget: Many SPLC Programs and Services continue to be available during the pandemic. Read the full list of programs.
