St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre is currently in the process of applying for accreditation from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation.
Accreditation is based on the philosophy of quality service delivery and ensuring the process of quality improvement. It also emphasizes client patient safety and organizational practices.
Accreditation will allow us to better serve our clients and our community by adhering to national standards and a continual process of quality improvement.
St. Paul’s Accreditation Objectives
- To underscore our commitment to quality and excellence with clients, staff, volunteers and partners
- To develop a culture of continuous improvement in delivery of programs and services by involving all permanent staff in the accreditation process
- To improve our working relationships with clients and partners by including them in our accreditation process
- To determine areas for improvement and develop relevant action plans
- To develop indicators that can be used to support continuous improvement in service delivery
- To obtain an impartial, third-party appraisal of our service delivery appropriateness and quality
