St. Paul's Earns Accreditation

Posted on Mar 10, 2008 (Updated: Mar 28, 2017)

St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre is pleased to announce that we have received accreditation from the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation.

Accreditation is a major accomplishment and demonstrates that St. Paul’s adheres to the highest level of quality care recognized on a national scale. The main goals of accreditation are to emphasize our commitment to quality; to strengthen our relations with clients, staff, volunteers and partners; to develop a system of continuous improvement and to identify areas in need of improvement.

The process is not easy, particularly for first time applicants, and must be reapplied for every 3 years. St. Paul’s journey, which began in March 2006 and finished November 2007, could not have been possible without the hard work, focus and dedication of all our staff.

The accreditation report highlights St. Paul’s successes and challenges in its 30 year history: dedication of service; a celebration of volunteers; innovation and creativity; commitment to accreditation; health and human resources; and service needs.

The hallmarks of St. Paul’s have always been commitment to quality care, continuous quality improvement and the mechanisms to identify areas in need of improvement. We will continue to ensure the health and safety of clients, staff and volunteers are top priority.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication in helping our agency achieve this recognition, and also our partners, volunteers and clients with whom we share our success.
