We are pleased to announce, on behalf of our Board of Directors, that St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre has established a new non-profit charitable corporation named Senior Persons Living Connected (SPLC).
SPLC will assume responsibility for property management services, and over 15 health and support services effective April 1, 2017.
St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre (The Centre) will continue to own the property at Finch and Warden Avenues in Scarborough, be home to over 300 seniors and a centre filled with beneficial programs and services accessed by thousands of seniors and caregivers. The two entities will continue to work closely with one another.
This makes us a family of three corporations: St. Paul's L'Amoreaux Centre, St. Paul's Terrace Seniors Residence, and our new corporation, Senior Persons Living Connected.
Senior Persons Living Connected preserves the acronym of SPLC & is intended to communicate what we do and for whom:
- Support seniors
- Connect older persons to one another and the community, and to the services, housing and supports needed throughout the ageing journey
- Enable healthy, active living
Thank you for your ongoing support in connecting seniors to excellent housing, programs and services. We look forward to continuing to serve you!
