On Thursday, February 28 from 7pm to 9pm, St. Paul's L'Amoreaux centre will be holding the “Bowl for Seniors” Shootout! The event will be held at Club 300 Bowl, 146 Old Kennedy Road, Markham (just one block north of Steeles) Registration is $15 per person and includes bowling shoe rental.
The proceeds will directly support St. Paul's programs and services which include housing, help with independent living, nutritional education, social and transportation. It's a great way for staff, board members, volunteers, clients, caregivers, business associates and friends & family to spend time together and support St. Paul's to help transform the life of a senior!
Participants have two exciting options:
Compete as an individual in our Bowling Shootout. Once registered, just show up and bowl – highest score of the night wins a trophy!
Get ten (10) friends and enter the team competition! There will be another trophy for best overall team score.
Everyone who bowls is also invited to get sponsors. Ask for pledges from your friends, family and co-workers to help support SPLC. An official 2013 “Bowl for Seniors” pledge and registration form can be downloaded by clicking here. Donations of $20 and over are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. An additional prize will be awarded to the bowler who raises the highest dollar pledge total.
Please submit your registration form to St. Paul's by Feb 22, so that we can reserve the lanes at Club 300 Bowl. (Pledge form can be submitted up to the date of event-Feb 28)
There will also be refreshments, a raffle and other exciting surprises!
Please remember to arrive between 6:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. on bowling night in order to complete the registration process and to get your shoes!!
